WHAT IS THEATRICAL-MAGIC?
Since ancient days people have clustered in groups inventing stories to explain the unexplainable. Story, fable, and myth provided a foundation upon which people explored their beliefs. Shamans, druid teachers, and wise women understood the power of the spoken word– while in our time the gulf has widened between our amusements and our truths.
Why can a movie, with plot-twists and an empathetic emphasis, move us so deeply when most live magic shows only move us to puzzlement and laughter? By blending the art of magic and the art of storytelling we can evoke for today's audiences a sense of astonishment, emotional intensity and wonder. Things lost to many of us since childhood.
